The Bridlepath Group acquired a majority interest in 2000 in a mixed-use condominium complex at 1280/1300 Finch Ave W in Toronto. The complex has 85,000 square feet retail and 130,000 square feet of office space situated on a 13-acre site in Toronto, Ontario. At the time of purchase, the vacancy rate of the acquired units was 35%, however, through capital enhancements and improvements in the building’s management, Bridlepath Properties brought down the vacancy to its current 7% rate. The property is directly adjacent to the Finch West station of the new Spadina subway extension. Bridlepath Properties continues to own a substantial interest in the property and manages the complex.
